View from the junction with the MR showing the disused line towards Great Alne with the water tower adjacent to the abandoned shed on the right circa 1952. This brick arch supported the shed’s water tank and the water crane pipework and arm can be seen. The internal dimensions of this building were 12ft x 8ft and 16ft to the underside of the water tank. The building was used as the pumping engine house and as a store. Robert Ferris
