GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Ex-GWR 2-6-0 43xx Class No 6349 is seen arriving at platform 1 with the 6:05pm Snow Hill to Leamington service on 21st April 1960. At the time of the photograph No 6349 was allocated to Stourbridge. This locomotive was seen on thesame service in image 'gwrag2447'. Built by Swindon works to Lot 21 in May 1923, No 6349 was to remain in service until August 1964 when it was withdrawn from 85B Horton Road shed in Gloucester to be scrapped by Birds of Risca.
