British Railways 2-6-4T Standard Class 4 No 80072 is seen with an unidentified ex-GWR Manor class locomotive standing on the down through line in the 1960s. Standing at Platform 5 is the Blue Pullman which was an experimental service and indeed a forerunner of the HST services seen operating on British Rail's routes several decades later.
