Birmingham Snow Hill - Grouping Period Locomotives: gwrbsh1239

GWR 4-4-0 Bulldog class No 3406 'Calculta' is seen arriving at Snow Hill Platform 8 on an up express service to Paddington on 29th August 1931. Built at Swindon works in March 1904 No 3406 was to remain in service until January 1951 when it was withdrawn from Hereford shed to be scrapped in February 1951 at Swindon works.
