Birmingham Snow Hill - British Railways Period Locomotives: gwrbsh1248

British Railways 4-6-0 Standard Class 7MT No 70054 'Dornoch Firth' is seen at the head of the 1 15pm Morris Cowley to Bathgate car train passing through Snow Hill on 23rd October 1963. Built at Crewe works in September 1954 No 70054 was to remain in service until November 1966 when it was withdrawn from Kingmoor shed in Carlisle to be scrapped in June 1967 by the Motherwell Machinery & Scrap Company of Inshaw works.
