British Railways 4-6-2 'Britannia class No 70017 'Arrow' is seen on the 5 15pm service to Hereford and Cardiff on Sunday 9th March 1958. Built at Crewe works in July 1951 No 70017 remained in service after a period of loan to the Southern Region in 1953 until September 1966 when following an accident at Carlisle it was withdrawn from Kingmoor shed to be scrapped in January 1967 by J Cashmore of Newport.
