British Railways' 'Birmingham Pullman' having arrived on the 10 10am Paddington to Snow Hill service is seen standing at Platform 5 ready to return to Paddington on the 1 00pm service. Because the train had power cars at both ends there was no need to transfer the stock to Platform 7 for its return service.
