Ex-Southern Railway 4-6-2 Battle of Britain class No 34051 'Sir Winston Churchill' arrives with a SLS Special on 23rd May 1965. Built by Brighton works as 21C 151 in December 1946, No 34051 was renumbered by British Railways in 1948 and was to remain as such until September 1965 when it was withdrawn from 70E Salisbury shed to be preserved as part of the National Collection.
