A colourisation by Mark Judd of Richard Postill's photograph of ex-LMS 2-8-0 Class 8F No 48765 passing through Birmingham Snow Hill station on 23rd November 1963. Built as LMS No 8765 by Doncaster Plant in March 1946, No 48765 was initially classified by the LNER as a Class 07 type, No 48765 to remain in service until the very last month of steam on British Railways being withdrawn in August 1968 from 10D Lostock Hall shed to be scrapped.
