GWR Bulldog 33xx class 4-4-0 No 3442 ‘Bullfinch’ is seen on an up train of four 3,000 gallon six-wheeled milk tank wagons and a passenger brake as it enters the confines of the station on a summer's day. This is likely to be the 14:25 Dorrington – Marylebourne, which ran as required, carrying milk from the Independent Milk Supplies (IMS) dairy at Dorrington in Shropshire to Banbury and then on via LNER (ex.GC) metals to London. Engine No 3442 was built at Swindon in May 1909 and withdrawn from Shrewsbury Shed in July 1948. Photograph taken 5th June 1937
