GWR Route: Alcester to Hatton Junction

Claverdon Station: gwrc547

Claverdon station viewed from the road bridge at the turn of the century, with a goods engine shunting in the loop. At this time there were two local goods trains in each direction daily. They were all timed to call at Claverdon for about ten minutes to carry out shunting work in the station. Notice the milk churns waiting for a Stratford bound passenger train.
