Looking across the two lines towards the building accommodating the Booking Office and the cycle rack to its right. In the foreground is a '6' Car sign indicating where the driver of a six car DMU should stop. The structure made of timber sleepers at the end of the up platform is thought to be an old platelayers hut used to store material to be used on this stretch of track.
