GWR Route: North Warwickshire Line

Henley in Arden - New Station: gwrha1385

Looking northwards towards Birmingham along the down platform from the Stratford upon Avon end of Henley-in-Arden station. The photograph must have been taken pre-World War One given the cleanliness of the station and track and the absence of darkened panes of glass in the gas lit lampposts seen on the platforms. On the left can be seen the end of the footpath which carried a right of way across the station as well as serving the two platforms.
