Ex-GWR 0-6-0PT 57xx class No 7713 is seen standing on one of the back sidings with the connecting line to the new station behind in June 1959. Built by Kerr Stuart Ltd in April 1930 No 7713 was a member of a very successful class of locomotives and remained in service until September 1962 when it was withdrawn from Taunton shed to be scrapped in the same month by Swindon works.
