GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Ex-GWR 4-6-0 Grange class No 6879 'Overton Grange' is seen at the head of the Saturdays only Weymouth to Wolverhampton service on 20th June 1964. Built at Swindon works to Lot 308 in May 1939, No 6879 was to remain in service until October 1965 when it was withdrawn from Tyseley shed (2A) to be scrapped in March 1966 by G Cohen of Kettering.
