GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Looking towards Snow Hill with the station in the centre, gantry crane on the left and the sheds on the right circa 1914. This photograph was taken from All Saints Street and shows the running lines through the vicinity of the three-platform station. A through line ran between the up platform on the left and the island platform whilst on the other side, between the island platform and sheds, a local line was complemented by the main up and down lines. To the left of the gantry crane was the 'round' yard where full-load wagons were handled.
