All tarpaulin sheets were numbered as can be seen on the lorry nearest to the camera. The brick built building on the other side of the gates is the weigh bridge office with a heavy lorry standing on the weighing plate. The other hut, an ex-contractors hut, was used by the gate man checking in and out vehicles which did not need to be weighed.
