GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

West Country Class 4-6-2 No 34094 'Mortehoe' passes under Station Road bridge at speed on 27th April 1963. The train was one of several carrying fans returning from a FA Cup semi final against Birmingham City. Built by Brighton works, No 34094 was built in October 1949 and remained in service in original condition until its withdrawal in August 1964 from 70D Eastleigh shed.
