GWR 4-6-0 No 6831 'Bearley Grange' is seen passing behind the station on the goods loop circa 1938. Built at Swindon works to Lot 308 in August 1937 No 6831 remained in service until in October 1965 when it was withdrawn from Oxley shed, Wolverhampton, to be scrapped by G Cohen of Kettering in April 1966.
