GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Ex-GWR 43xx Class 2-6-0 No 5390 trundles through the station with a down iron-ore train on 8th September 1957. Built by Swindon works as GWR No 5390 to Lot 211 (works number 2790) in October 1920, it was renumbered as GWR No 8380 in March 1928 only to revert to its original number in September 1944 which it carried until it was withdrawn in August 1958 from 81E Didcot shed.
