GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Ex-GWR 68xx Class 4-6-0 No 6879 'Overton Grange' runs light engine towards Leamington shed on 13th March 1965. The signal box controlled both the access line to the former LNWR Leamington to Rugby line which ran behind the signal box and access to Leamington shed which was located behind the photographer. Built by Swindon works to Lot 308 in May 1939, No 6879 remained in service until October 1965 when it was withdrawn from 2A Tysely shed.
