GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Ex-LMS 8F 2-8-0 No 48035 is seen out of commission with damaged cylinders at Leamington shed. Built as LMS No 8035 by the Vulcan Foundry in August 1936, No 48035 was so numbered by British Railways when allocated to Mansfield shed. The locomotive was withdrawn from 2A Tyseley shed in March 1967 so its most likely that the damaged pistons would have resulted in No 48035 being condemned as a consequence.
