GWR 4-6-0 Saint class No 'St Augustine' is seen standing at the head of an up express thought to be travelling to Paddington via Oxford

GWR 4-6-0 Saint class No 2914 'St Augustine' is seen standing at the head of an up express thought to be travelling to Paddington via Oxford in 1936. The third and fourth coaches are 70 ft roof-boarded vehicles whilst the locomotive was stationed at Stafford Road but from October the same year it was transferred to Leamington shed. Built at Swindon works in August 1907 No 2914 remained in service until January 1946 when it was withdrawn from Weymouth shed for scrapping by Swindon works.
