This close up of image 'gwrm592' has been included for no better reason than showing just how proud the station staff were working for the GWR and the pride they took in the care of theiir station. Whilst the tradition of planting flowers at stations today continues, rarely if ever does one see this level of care and attention. Probably because the Train Operating Companies (just doesn't have the same ring does it) would see this as a prime illustration of staff being under employed and would remedy this by sacking them.
