GWR Route: Moreton-in-Marsh to Shipston-on-Stour

Moreton-in-Marsh Station: gwrmm979

A general view of the access road to both the main passenger buildings and goods facilities which were sited on the down side circa 1956. This view is looking obliquely north towards Worcester with the goods yard located to the left of the picture past the footbridge. The goods shed however was at the opposite end of the access road to the right and behind the photographer. The footbridge had two sets of steps at this end of the footbridge, the one facing the camera being to provide access to the down platform, the other which faces away from the camera, was used to fulfill the function of providing a right of way to a footpath crossed by the railway.
