Close up of image 'gwrmm986' showing the up platform 'Brunel' type waiting room on the station's island platform which was erected some two years after the original main station building on the down platform. A later addition to the original design is the ornate canopy which appears to be an entirely new design to that seen in image 'gwrmm3068a'. The station 'running in board (name board) is smaller only bearing the legend 'Moreton-in-Marsh'. Compare this to that seen in image 'gwrmm994a' which dates from July 1931, two decades earlier.
