Close up of image 'gwrms1205' showing shed 'B', its boundary with Park Street on the left, Allison Street on the right and the stable block opposite on the other side of Allison Street. The Wagon Hoist raising and lowering wagons from the goods yard above can be seen in the top right hand corner of the plan. Shed 'B' was equipped with different types of cranes including two fixed platform cranes on the unloading platforms seen in the bottom section of the plan. In the section above the two platforms the columns supporting the travelling crane that ran the length of the shed can be seen. On the left, at the Park Street end of the shed is the traverser that moved wagons from each siding to the Wagon Hoist for lifting to the surface level goods yard. A second Wagon Hoist was provided via the siding seen, in the bottom portion of the plan, with three sidings providing storage running at right-angles to the main siding accessed via wagon turntables.
