Ex-GWR 2-6-2T 'Large Prairie' No 5181 is seen standing at Platform 2 whilst the head of a local passenger service prior to moving forward on to the traverser in 1957. British Railways continued the practice of producing posters advertising tourist locations throughout its network. Built by Swindon works in March 1931 No 5181 was to remain in service until September 1962 until it was withdrawn from Severn Tunnel Junction shed to be scrapped in November 1962 by Swindon works.
