A view of the water troughs looking north towards Birmingham from the occupation bridge with Rowington Junction Signal Box in the background. The photograph was taken from the bridge carrying the Rowington to Lowsonford footpath in October 1959. This photograph shows how at Rowington the straight level section of track, unimpeded by obstacles was ideal for the water troughs. There are several wagons on the Henley-in-Arden branch line indicating that this picture was probably taken after the branch had closed in first world war and when it was being used for storage.
