GWR Route: Stratford on Avon to Honeybourne

Ex-GWR 0-6-0PT 94xx class No 9401 is seen on a Worcester local passenger working as it approaches the bridge carrying the former SMJ line over the GWR route to Honeybourne on 14th December 1957. Built at Swindon works to Lot 365 in February 1947 No 9401 was the second member of the last class of locomotive designed for the Great Western Railway and remained in service until July 1962 when it was withdrawn from 21C Bromsgrove shed to be scrapped during January 1964 by Swindon works.
