Ex-GWR 2-6-2T 45xx class 'Prairie' No 4571 is seen standing at the down platform at the head of a local passenger service to Honeybourne in 1953. Built at Swindon works in January 1924 No 4571 remained in service until March 1963 when it was withdrawn from Penzance shed to be scrapped in April 1961 by Swindon works.
