Ex-GWR 4-6-0 Hall class No 5994 'Roydon Hall' is seen at the head of a West Country express as it passes the refuge siding south of Haslucks Green bridge. Built at Swindon in December 1939 No 5994 remained in service until March 1963 when it was withdrawn from Shrewsbury shed to be scrapped in June 1965 by J Cashmore of Newport.
