Spring Road Platform: gwrsr1368

Spring Road Platform looking towards Birmingham on 24th June 1930, just over a year after the platforms had been extended by 100ft (notice the change in platform edge stone colour). The original pagoda style waiting room can be seen on the Stratford Up Platform and the original oil lamps were still in place at this time. On the platform extension new lamp brackets can just be seen in the foreground. By this time the Down side pagoda style waiting room had been replaced with the waiting room and toilet facilities from Wootten Wawen Halt and the Spring Road Booking Office had been added at the top of the ramp.
