Two concrete plinths have been buried to provide hard standing for the wheels of road vehicles whilst a metal ring has been set into a cross member to assist in pulling road vehicles on to flat wagons. The van nearest the gate and the five-plank wagon are LMS vehicles evidence of the common user approach to prevent vehicles being returned empty. The 2000 gallon water tank provided for the station can just be seen behind and alongside the shed.
