Ex-GWR 4-6-0 'Modified Hall' class No 6964 'Thornbridge Hall' is seen at the head of the 11:58am Banbury OIC to Bilston iron ore train on 15th February 1965. Built at Swindon works to Lot 350 in May 1944 it was a Hawkesworth update on Collet's design and remained in service until September 1965 when it was withdrawn from Banbury shed to be scrapped during January 1966 by TW Ward of Beighton in Sheffield.
