GWR 4-4-0 Bulldog class No 3454 'Skylark' is seen standing alongside Tyseleys two-road coaling station

GWR 4-4-0 Bulldog class No 3454 'Skylark' is seen standing alongside Tyseley's two-road coaling station. The building on the left was built during the Second World War to minimise the glare from fires being dropped. Built at Swindon works in January 1910 No 3454 remained in service until November 1951 when, as the last member of the Bulldog class, it was withdrawn from Reading shed to be scrapped circa 1952 at Swindon works.
