Tyseley Shed: gwrt1078

GWR 4-4-0 Dukedog class No 9015, a straight outside-framed locomotive, is seen coaled and ready for its turn of service in front of Tyseley shed's coaling stage. Built as GWR No 3215 at Swindon works in October 1937 it was allocated the name 'Earl Cancarty' but never fitted, No 9015 remained in service until June 1960 when it was withdrawn from Machynlleth shed to be scrapped in November 1960 by Swindon Works.
