Tyseley Shed: gwrt364

GWR 2-6-2T No 5140, a class 51xx 'Large Prairie' locomotive, is seen on one of Tyseley shed's stabling roads with the coaling stage in the background circa 1939. Initially built at Swindon works in March 1906 as No 3140 it was later rebuilt by Swindon works and remained in service until July 1953 when it was withdrawn from Taunton shed to scrapped circa 1953 by Swindon works.
