An ex-GWR Autocoach now being used as mess facilities is seen standing in the siding opposite platform 4, the down relief platform. The brick building behind the Autocoach formed part of the extensive carriage siding complex with the locomotive shed and works being beyond the carriage sidings. 6th April 1963
