Looking in the general direction of Birmingham towards the point where the path from Malthouse Lane joins the down platform. The sign at the bottom of the path warns passengers not to cross to the other platform over the rails but to use the road bridge. The two passengers seated on the bank on the up platform are anglers on their way home after fishing the nearby lakes. According to Jim Hanley the white coloured hut was used as a ticket office for a couple of years.
