Wood End Platform: gwrwe1373

Ex-GWR 2-6-2T 51xx class No 4170 is seen approaching Wood End tunnel whilst at the head of the 6 40pm Birmingham Moor Street to Stratford upon Avon service on 1st July 1959. Built at Swindon works to Lot 369 in October 1949 No 4170 was to remain in service until September 1960 when it was withdrawn from Tyseley shed to be scrapped in April 1961 by Swindon works.
