Wood End Platform: gwrwe1378

GWR 0-6-0 Standard Goods 388 class engine No 1094 is seen at the head of an up freight approaching Wood End Tunnel in 1926. Designed by Armstrong and built at Swindon works in October 1870, No 1094 had a working life of nearly sixty-four years being withdrawn in March 1934 from Brecon shed to be scrapped shortly afterwards by Swindon works.
