Ex-GWR 4-6-0 'Castle' Class No 5089 'Westminster Abbey' is being helped by ex-GWR 0-6-0 No 2211 on a Class A express service near Wilmcote on 27th June 1964. Rebuilt from a Star Class locomotive No 4069 in November 1939, No 5089 remained in service only for a few months after the photograph was taken being withdrawn in November 1964 from 2B Oxley shed to be scrapped by J Cashmore's of Great Bridge. Collett 0-6-0 No 2211, a member of the 2251 class, was built by Swindon works in May 1940 and remained in service until it too was withdrawn in November 1964 from 84D Leamington shed to be scrapped by J Cashmore's of Great Bridge.
