GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Widney Manor Station - Locomotives: gwrwm415

GWR 0-6-0 Dean Goods No 2439 is seen passing Widney Manor goods yard on an up loose-coupled goods train. The single lamp on the right of the bufferbeam indicated that the train is required to stop in between signal boxes within the section. Built at Swindon works in April 1893 it remained in service until October 1940 when it was withdrawn from Tyseley shed to be scrapped by Swindon works.
