LMS Route: Rugby to Tamworth
Tamworth Station: lnwr_tam2352
Ex-LMS 8P 4-6-2 No 46249 'City of Sheffield' storms through
Tamworth on the fast down line at the head of the Mid-day Scot. A member of
Stanier's Coronation Pacific Class, No 46249 was built by Crewe works in April
1944 and was to remain in service until November 1963 when it was withdrawn
from 66A Polmadie shed.
