Ex-LMS 5MT 4-6-0 No 45369 is seen standing on the middle road between Platforms 9 and 10 facing West during the demolition of the roof on 31st October 1964. Built by the Armstrong Whitworth Company in June 1937 No 45369 was to remain in service until March 1967 when it was withdrawn from Chester (Midland) shed to be scrapped in October 1967 by G Cohen of Morriston near Swansea.
