Midland Railway 3P 4-4-0 No 700 is seen with a vacuum pump fitted adjacent to the smokebox as it stands at the head of a train in fish sidings on 9th October 1913. Built at Derby works in September 1900 to a 2606 class design by SW Johnson No 700 remained in service until November 1927 when it was withdrawn from Leicester shed to be scrapped shortly afterwards by Derby works.
