LMS Route: Rugby to Wolverhampton
Brandon and Wolston: lnwrbw3095
Roadside view of Brandon & Wolston station with the
access to the goods shed and yard on the right. The main station building,
constructed primarily from timber, was set upon a deep brick apron which
finished immediately below the window cills. The platform and footbridge are
lit by oil lamp although in all probability the station building was probably
lit by electric lights. The heating was provided by coal fired cast iron
stoves, their pipes visible above the pitched and slate covered roof.
