Neil Hatfield writes, 'I believe the two children on the photograph standing next to Robert are William Christopher (Chris) b1878 and his sister Ada Annie b1885, probably dating the photograph to 1886 - the other child who can just be seen standing by the Clifton Mill sign is not a relative as there wasn't another boy born in the Hatfield family until 1888 and his birth was followed by a younger brother not sister at Clifton Station house.'
