Ex-LMS 4-6-0 5XP Jubilee class No 45647 'Sturdee' is seen coasting in to Coventry station on an Euston to Birmingham express. To the right of Coventry No 1 Signal box is the shed with at least one ex-LNWR 0-6-0 and one ex-LMS 4-6-0 locomotive standing in the yard. Built as LMS No 5647 by Crewe works to Lot 208 in January 1935 it remained in service until April 1967 when it was withdrawn from Holbeck shed in Leeds to be scrapped during September 1967 by J Cashmore of Great Bridge.
